One Tool, Endless Possibilities

Whether you are a tabletop gamer, an artist, or a professional, PosteRazor provides the precision you need to transform digital files into physical reality.

Tabletop Battle Maps

Perfect for D&D (Dungeons & Dragons) and Pathfinder players. Print massive, detailed tactical maps at 1-inch grid scale using standard home printers.

DIY Wall Murals

Create stunning feature walls without expensive custom wallpaper. Split high-resolution photography or digital art into multi-sheet masterpieces.

Banners & Signage

Ideal for birthday parties, protests, or store announcements. Produce long horizontal banners or vertical signs up to several meters in size.

Classroom Resources

Teachers can transform educational infographics into classroom posters. A cost-effective way to build a visual learning environment on a budget.

Pro Tip: When using PosteRazor for large-scale murals, we recommend using a 10-15mm overlap for optimal glue surface and alignment precision.

Optimization Guide

How to ensure your 4K images stay sharp and your colors stay vibrant across 50+ pages.

Pro Rule:

Aim for at least 150-300 DPI for the final physical size to avoid pixelation.

01. Image Resolution Strategy

PosteRazor doesn’t create pixels; it preserves them. Before importing, ensure your source file is high-resolution. For a 2-meter wall, a 4000px wide image is recommended. Use our Bicubic Resampling option during the size setup for smoother transitions.

02. Solving the “White Border” Issue

Most home printers cannot print “Edge-to-Edge.” This creates a non-printable white margin. PosteRazor handles this by allowing you to define the Overlapping Margin. We recommend setting this to 1.5cm (0.6 inches) to compensate for printer drift.

03. Paper Weight & Ink Consumption

For durable wall maps, use 120gsm – 160gsm paper. If you are printing large dark areas, ensure your printer is set to “Matte Paper” to prevent ink saturation and paper curling during the drying process.

Smart Tiling vs. Standard Printing

Why struggle with “Poster Mode” in basic printer drivers? PosteRazor gives you the granular control needed for professional-grade DIY assembly.

Advanced Troubleshooting & Expert Tips

Don’t let technical hurdles stop your project. Here is how to solve the most common issues when using PosteRazor.

Why is my poster blurry?

Solution: The source image’s resolution is too low. Always check the Effective DPI in the fourth step of PosteRazor. If it’s below 72 DPI, consider using an AI Image Upscaler (like Real-ESRGAN) before importing into PosteRazor to maintain sharpness at giant scales.

Pages don’t align perfectly?

The Fix: Printer mechanical drift is real. In Step 3 (Overlapping), ensure you select “Top Right” or “Bottom Left” alignment consistently. Also, disabling “Fit to Page” in your PDF reader’s print settings is mandatory to keep the scale at exactly 100%.

Large PDF file issues?

Tip: If PosteRazor crashes during PDF export, it’s usually a memory limit for extremely large TIFF files. Convert your source image to JPEG (High Quality) before processing. This drastically reduces the final PDF size without visible quality loss for home printing.

PRO TIP Always do a “Proof Print” of just 2 overlapping pages first to test your glue/tape strategy before printing a massive 50-page mural.
